Dr. Cammie Morris

Dr. Cammie Morris is a Brunswick County native. Originally from Oak Island, NC, Dr. Morris loves the Brunswick county beaches and all the area has to offer. She is ecstatic to return to the area and serve the residents of Shallotte. Dr. Morris received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Chemistry, as well as her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Dr. Morris regularly attends continuing education and advanced training courses to stay current with the latest advances and technologies in dentistry. It is her passion for continuing education that allows Dr. Morris to provide comprehensive, reliable dental care with the most modern, effective techniques and equipment.

Dr. Morris, and her husband, Charles, are blessed with three children, Caroline, Charlie and Caswell. You will frequently find her cheering on the Heels during basketball and football season.

Dr. Siena M. Leone

Dr. Siena M. Leone

Dr. Siena M. Leone has called New Hanover County her home for over 20 years. The daughter of a Navy physician, Dr. Leone spent her early years in Virginia, Guam, Maryland, and Topsail Island before her family settled in Wilmington in 1998. She graduated from John T. Hoggard High School with Honors, and went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in International Health from Georgetown University. After graduating Cum Laude, Dr. Leone embarked upon a year long, round-the-world, cultural journey backpacking through over 20 countries working and volunteering in various capacities along the way. 

After returning to the USA, Dr. Leone vigorously pursued her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She then completed her dental training through a rigorous 2-year General Practice Residency in Hospital Dentistry from the Wake Forest School of Medicine, Bowman Gray Hospital in Winston Salem. There, Dr. Leone gained extensive experience managing and treating adults and children with head and neck cancer, infectious disease, cleft lip and palate, emergency room trauma, organ and stem cell transplants, and cardiac conditions in both clinical and operating room settings. In 2019, she returned to her hometown of Wilmington and joined the ranks of the dental professionals at Shallotte Family Dentistry. Dr. Leone maintains a passion for public health dentistry and strives to provide reliable, comprehensive dental treatment to underserved individuals. As an associate, she attends continuing education courses to provide the highest standard of care to her patients.

Socially, Dr. Leone has a newfound passion for golf, tennis, and escape rooms. She also is an experienced scuba diver seeking out remote dive sites around the world. Dr. Leone is a welcome addition to the Brunswick County community of medical professionals, and is excited to join her fellow UNC Tarheel Graduates at Shallotte Family Dentistry.

Dr. William D Carmichael

Dr. William D Carmichael is originally from Concord, NC, and has called Brunswick County Home since 2011. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from Appalachian State University and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Dr. Carmichael has a passion for his profession and enjoys providing his patients with the latest advances in technology for dentistry. He regularly attends continuing education and advanced training courses to provide the best and most comprehensive treatment available.

Dr. Carmichael and his wife, Ashley, have three children, Finn, Aidan and Harper. Dr. Carmichael loves spending time with his family, playing golf and cheering on the Appalachian Mountaineers and UNC Tarheels!

Kelly is a Registered Dental Hygienist for 18 years and counting. Kelly moved to Oak Island from North Eastern Pennsylvania in 2017 & couldn't be happier with her decision to trade snow for sand. In her free time Kelly enjoys spending time with her husband & friends going to the beach.

Sara

Sara is a Registered Dental Hygienist and a Certified Dental Assistant. She graduated from Cape Fear Community College with her Dental Assisting diploma in 2018 and her Associates in Applied Science Dental Hygiene degree in 2021. Sara is originally from Charlotte, NC. She moved to the coast in 2007. She owns two rescue cats, Grom and Kona. In her free time she enjoys traveling, spending time at the beach, shopping, and finding a good bite to eat!

Leslie, a North Carolina native, is a registered dental hygienist with 18 years experience. She is a mother of two and has two grandsons. In her down time she enjoys time with her family, the beach, and of course shopping.
